Multiple Teams · Student-Athlete Spotlight – Lance Calcutt

Lance Calcutt – Senior at Colleton County High School

Grade:

  • Senior (12th)

Sport(s):

  • Football, Basketball, Soccer

Favorite Sports Moment:

  • Going to the second round of the playoffs during my senior football season. Another favorite of mine is running back a kick off almost 50 yards playing against Hardeeville-Ridgeland.

Favorite Athlete:

  • My favorite athlete is Adam Vinatieri.  He is a kicker in the NFL and is one of the oldest players in the league.  His worth ethic has allowed him to play for a very long time and be one of the top scores in the NFL.

Favorite Subject/Teacher:

  • My favorite subject is biology because I love the sciences. In college I plan to major in biology and hopefully become a doctor. The human body has always fascinated me in the way God has created us to work is amazing.
  • My favorite teacher was my Spanish one teacher Señor Ramos.  He had the best overall classroom environment and  I came into class knowing that I would learn something new every day.

Plans After High School:

  • After high school, I plan to attend North Greenville University to play football for the Crusaders. I will be in the Honors Program majoring in biology and hopefully a minor in chemistry and aviation. After that, I hope attend medical school.
